A.Vogel (BioForce) Horse Chestnut (Aesculus) Drops are primarily formulated using extracts from the horse chestnut tree (Aesculus hippocastanum). These drops are most commonly used for their beneficial effects on the circulatory system, particularly in the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) and related conditions. Here are some of the key benefits:

Venous Health Support:
Improves Circulation: Horse chestnut extract is known to improve venous tone and circulation, helping to reduce the pooling of blood in the veins, a common issue in CVI.
Reduces Leg Swelling and Varicose Veins: By improving venous circulation, horse chestnut can help reduce swelling (edema) in the legs and alleviate symptoms associated with varicose veins.

Anti-inflammatory Properties:
The active compound in horse chestnut, called aescin, has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce swelling and pain in the legs.

Antioxidant Effects:
Horse chestnut contains antioxidants that help protect the veins and capillaries from oxidative stress and damage.

Capillary Health:
The extract can strengthen capillaries, reducing their permeability and fragility, which is beneficial in preventing capillary leakage that leads to swelling.

It’s important to note that while Horse Chestnut Aesculus Drops can be effective for many individuals, they are not suitable for everyone. The use of horse chestnut should be avoided by individuals with liver or kidney disease, bleeding disorders, or those taking blood-thinning medications. It’s also not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Adults: 20 drops twice a day immediately after meals, in a little water.
